Print and Pattern 2nd Feature

Well some nice news to share... As you might have seen yesterday I was featured on my favourite pattern blog 'Print & Pattern'.  I feel honoured to be featured here for the second time now. In the past P&P has featured designers I admire such as Orla Kiely, Sanderson, Pip Studio and Cath Kidston... Greetings Card... Graphic Chevron

Hello and happy Monday to you! I thought I'd share a Birthday Card I made for a friend recently.  I don't usually design prints for men (If you know my style I'm partial to a floral design or two!), but I really enjoyed playing with hand written typography, bold colours and graphics for this design...

Tea Party Wallpaper

It's been a few weeks since I last posted. Today I thought I'd share with you a new wallpaper design called 'Tea Party' which I've been working on recently. I designed it for a competition but sadly was not successful... My disappointment was however short lived, I realised that this had not been a waste of time and this design can be used in my portfolio and I'm determined I will see this design being sold as wallpaper somewhere, someday... After all this is what it was designed for. The design has an old and new look to it, the floral design is quite vintage looking along with the cream background colour, but the more vibrant colour palette of duck egg and crimson rose along with the use of geometric shapes brings a more contemporary feel. What do you think? it's a winner to me...

aliceperrydesigns.com has launched!

Last week was a very exciting one for me with the live launch of www.aliceperrydesigns.com I have spent several weeks designing all components of my website, I think  it looks fresh, clean and professional. Take a look if you have a moment, I'd love to hear what you think...
