OHH DEER competition...

I have entered a competition with a company called 'Ohh Deer' I had to upload 3 phone case designs, 3 art prints and 3 stretched canvas designs. They are all available to buy in the competition shop until the 5th July. At the end of the competition Ohh Deer are selecting 3 people to become contributors to their company which is such an exciting opportunity! 'Ohh Deer' stock products to companies such as Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Scribbler and many more. Sales from products are taken into account but do not dictate the winners. Floral Friday- Peonies 'Unfolding Beauty'

It's a bit of a 'Floral Friday' blog post today. My grandma bought me these beautiful peonies a few weeks ago. I captured them with my camera so thought I'd share them with you! I love the way they unfold and develop into unique flower heads, with each petal a different shade of colour and shape to the next. The petals look like they are fingers gripping the inner petals until they are ready to burst, once opened they remind me of a ballerinas tutu... enjoy!

Bunting Greetings Cards

Below is one of a series of cards I have recently made, I came up with a different idea to having a traditional folded card format for a greetings card, which was to make personalised birthday bunting cards. The print is double sided with a blank circle on the back of one of the bunting triangles to write your own personal message. I have made a few more designs which I may feature here at a later date. The design is printed on card with loop holes on  either side of the twine for the recipient to be able to hang their bunting up. These cards could be used for so many purposes: birthday's, new baby, christening, mothers day, fathers day- I could go on! The nice thing about it is you can make it personal as I make them to order. NB- The print used on this card is from my 'Midnight Garden' collection, but a huge variety of prints can be used to suit different tastes...
